Not much going on in combat sports over the weekend except for a couple of boxing matches. I tuned in to watch Shakur Stevenson win an unspectacular decision and The Diaz vs Masvidal fight. I couldn't help but notice the difference in ability between the two shows. I watched them on one screen at the same time. Go figure, the pure boxing event with actual boxers looked levels ahead of the skill shown on the card with MMA fighters doing boxing.

It was not a bad weekend of fights. I managed to catch most of the PFL, even though I was traveling back to San Jose from NYC all day. UFC 303 went down on Saturday night and had some good fights, even though the card got mixed around a few times. Jump in the chat and join the conversation. Man, what a great weekend of fights! BKFC, PFL, Bellator, and UFC. There was some great action in all of the cards, with some major talent squaring off. Thanks to the PFL and the Boxing event, I saw some pretty good fights. I watched the UFC, too, but it was a mostly uneventful card. The most exciting thing that happened with the UFC is that they finally announced that Conor isn't fighting. I told you so. We also have an update on the class action lawsuit. It was a pretty dang good weekend of fights. Some of the fights turned out to be flops, but overall, it was some beautiful violence. The boxing card was a hidden gem.
