I did my first live show this weekend up in Sacramento at the Punch Line. The show was a test run for Fitch & Tinkle SMASH Everything podcast. I've been doing a podcast with Kris Tinkle and we want to start doing more live shows as a part of the pod. This way we can get more people involved in the taping of the show. It was a good trip and I even got to sleep on a riverboat.

I’ve been fighting for more than 17 years and I have been wrestling for even longer. One of the shittier aspects of weight class sports is making weight. Lots of people struggle with this. Most are clueless about what it takes to make the cut easy. At the request of my buddy Mo, I’ve started to write a simple book. I break down what I do over the course of a training camp in order to make the weight and perform well. I’m almost done with it and I want to give you an update.

I’ve been trying to avoid politics as much as possible but its almost impossible. At least I can’t avoid it on my twitter timeline. Looks like the Dems are trying to go forward with the impeachment of President Trump. I thought this nonsense was over with.

Got a fun one today. Had a great talk with James Chapman yesterday, during the talk we were asked about splitting the household chores. This seems to be a hot button for a lot of people. I’ve had lengthy discussions with others over the years about household responsibilities. I think there are a lot of myths or at least things that sound good, around splitting up chores in the house.

Thanksgiving is over and that means its consumer, I mean Christmas season. This time of year always brings out the best in people. Fist fighting for bargain prices on things they don’t really need. I didn’t see the usual amount of fights on my timelines this year. Are fewer people doing the Black Friday sales stuff this year or are they not fighting? Maybe cyber Monday has taken some of the need away from going to the store location and fighting to the death for a toaster. Did you see any good scraps? Send links!

Big fight news was announced yesterday. Conor McGregor and Donald Cerrone have signed to fight on January 18th. The fight will be at welterweight and will take place in Las Vegas. A lot of people are excited about this fight and talking about it. Yet, still no mention of the rape allegations against McGregor. These guys are fun to watch but are they that good? It's often hard to tell these days with the UFC running things like its pro wrestling. Does this fight happen? What are your thoughts?

Thanksgiving is tomorrow. That means the holiday season is upon us. Busy streets, busier malls and time with family and friends. At least that’s how it used to be for me. Now I use it as a time to reflect and be grateful for all the good things I have.
