Some really good fights last night and people are mad. That's MMA for ya. Aljamain was able to retain the title and a lot of people are salty about that. Volk did as I predicted and Khamzat actually had to dig down deep in a fight for the first time. People are also mad at him for not doing more against the #2 ranked guy. You can't please some people. This is a phrase we have all heard and for the most part, people agree with it. Do they really though? At the end of the day, we have many laws that say you can talk shit and not get hit. Everyone has an opinion on fighter pay in combat sports. The majority of those opinions stink like ass though. They stink because they don't know the numbers and they don't really seem to care to do any digging to find out what the numbers are. Well, lucky for us, John Nash has done all the digging. At least as much digging as he can with available data. Today we are doing a deep dive into the finance around legal violence and see if we can get a clearer picture of the landscape.
