Lost a good one this weekend. Still processing it. My friend had been fighting a rare brain cancer the last couple of years. They tried everything they could and he fought hard. He leaves behind a wife and young son. It's heartbreaking but at least he won’t suffer anymore. Dougie was a natural alpha. He never had an issue with talking to girls or getting dates. He followed his own path and did what he wanted. It took me years to fully appreciate his glory. I feel I get it more now than ever. I am thankful for his friendship and thankful he taught me my first chords on the uke. Love you, buddy, 🤙
